Several years ago, while planning a family vacation to Disneyworld, our travel agent in Boston suggested a package that included a three bedroom home which cost about the same as a single room in a big hotel on Disney property. The home was only four miles from the parks and offered much more room for our family to relax in privacy without the hassles and restrictions of large hotel complexes. It was a fantastic idea and we had a great time that week. If fact, the next year when we went back, we decided to buy a home in the same neighborhood that we could return to every year.
We have since purchased three additional homes in the same community and are offering rentals to other families planning a vacation to central Florida. We have a professional management company that maintains the homes and assists our guests with any issues that may arise during their stay.
